In his first letter to Timothy, Paul offers instruction to his younger colleague so that he might not only hold on to faith, but also to a good conscience (1 Tim. 1:19). Indeed, ethical living ("holding on to.a good conscience") is an inescapable requisite for ministry in any context. This series explores the Christian moral ideal as well as Christian principles of judgment and action, especially as they relate to ministering as Christians in the contemporary world. While the emphasis is on "professional" Christian ministry, the principles explored are applicable to christians in all vocational contexts.
