Each book is overviewed with an eye toward its meaning and contributions to the Christian story. The course provides the listener with a good foundation for understanding the New Testament, in both its continuities and discontinuities.

Rikk E. Watts is Associate Professor of New Testament at Regent College. He is author of a recently published book on the use of Isaiah in the Gospel of Mark entitled Isaiah's New Exodus and Mark.
