Description

Along with Christian Thought & Culture II, this course is intended to provide a historical, theological and cultural complement to Old Testament and New Testament Foundations. The aim is to provide students with the opportunity, within an historical framework, to reflect upon Christian faith and character and upon Christianity and culture. By the end of the course the student should grasp something of the comprehensiveness of our life in Christ as displayed in the Christian tradition. Lectures included are;

    Iain W. Provan is the E. Marshall Shepherd Professor of Biblical Studies (Old Testament) at Regent College. He has authored commentaries on 1 & 2 Kings, Ecclesiastes & Song of Songs, and Lamentations, as well as numerous scholarly articles.
